Shippers consistently tell us the same thing: their customers want visibility into where their freight is, and fielding those requests manually takes real time. Phone calls, follow-up emails, status check-ins: all for information that already exists on the shipment page.
The Share button gives you a way to hand that visibility directly to your customers, without any of the back and forth.
What is the Shipment Share Link?
The shipment share link is a permanent, public URL tied to a specific shipment. Send it to anyone: your customer, their receiving team, your internal sales rep, whoever needs to know. They'll have everything in one place:
Current shipment status (Booked, Picked Up, Delivered, etc.)
Latest ETA and full ETA history
Carrier tracking link (if one has been provided)
Shipment details (commodity, weight, service type, dimensions)
Shipper and carrier information
Route details
No Evotrux account required. No login. Just open the link.

When can I use it?
The Share button is available on all shipment pages, at every stage from posted through delivered.
How to Share Tracking with Your Customers
1. Open the shipment page
Navigate to the shipment you want to share from My Shipments.
2. Click the Share button
You'll find the Share button near the top of the shipment page, beside Refresh.

3. Copy the link
A modal will appear with your public tracking link. Click Copy to copy it to your clipboard, or Open to preview exactly what your customer will see before you send it.

4. Send it your way
Paste the link into an email, a text message, or wherever works best for you and your customer. No instructions needed on their end. The page opens in any browser.
What your customer sees
When your customer opens the link, they get a clean public page showing:
Current shipment status with timestamp
Latest ETA and corresponding route point
Full status history (expandable)
A clickable tracking URL if the carrier has provided one
Shipment details: commodity, weight, service type, dimensions
Shipper and carrier information
Route details
The page always reflects the latest information. Your customer can bookmark it and check back at any point during the shipment.
Why this matters
On every load you manage for a customer, the questions come in. Has it been picked up? What's the latest ETA? Where is it now? Each one means stopping what you're doing, pulling up the shipment, and sending a reply. Multiply that across multiple stakeholders and multiple loads, and it adds up fast.
The share link puts the information directly in your customers' hands. Send it once at the start of a shipment and they can check it whenever they want, without having to ask you. That saves you time on every load, and it keeps your customers better informed and better served throughout the process.
Important notes
The link is permanent and never expires. It always reflects the latest shipment information.
The link is public. Anyone with the URL can view the shipment details, so share it intentionally.
No Evotrux account or login is required for the recipient.
The Share button is available at all shipment stages.
Options to show or hide specific fields are coming in a future update.
