Blocking A Carrier

Evotrux allows shippers to block carriers they don't want to work with. Blocking a carrier prevents them from accessing and quoting on your future shipments.

What Happens When You Block A Carrier

When a carrier is blocked:

  • They can no longer view or quote on your shipments

  • They no longer get notified when you post shipments

  • They are removed from your available carrier pool

  • Existing quotes from that carrier are canceled

  • The carrier is not notified that they have been blocked

Step 1: Locate The Carrier Quote or Question

Open the shipment and find the quote or question from the carrier you want to block.

Step 2: Click The Block Icon

At the bottom-right of the quote card, click the block (flag) icon.

If doing so from a shipment Question, the block icon is in the top right.

Step 3: Confirm Blocking The Carrier

A confirmation window will appear explaining the impact of blocking the carrier. Click Block Carrier to confirm.

When To Block A Carrier

Blocking a carrier may be appropriate if:

  • The carrier solicits you outside of Evotrux even after you have asked them not to

  • The carrier repeatedly submits irrelevant quotes

  • You no longer want to work with the carrier

  • The carrier does not meet your service expectations

  • Your company has previously blacklisted the carrier
