Canceling A Booking

If a shipment has already been booked with a carrier and the load can no longer move, Evotrux allows you to cancel the booking directly from the shipment page. Canceling a booking updates the shipment status and notifies the carrier.

Step 1: Open Shipment Menu

From the shipment page, click the menu icon in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Select Cancel Booking

From the menu, click Cancel Booking.

Step 3: Choose A Cancellation Reason

Select the reason for canceling the booking. Available options include:

  • Customer canceled the order

  • Shipment details changed

  • Truck unavailable

  • Other

The selected reason will be shared with the carrier.

Step 4: Confirm The Cancellation

Click Cancel Booking to confirm. The booking will be canceled, and the shipment status will update accordingly.

Important Notes

  • Canceling a booking notifies the booked carrier

  • This action cannot be reversed

  • The shipment will no longer be considered booked


When To Cancel A Booking

Canceling a booking is appropriate when:

  • The shipment details have changed

  • The load is no longer required

  • The booked carrier can no longer service the shipment
