Shipment Questions & Answers (Q&A)

Evotrux enables carriers to ask you questions about your shipment. You can respond, and the answer is visible to all carriers viewing the shipment. This helps reduce answering repetitive questions and keeps communication clear and consistent.

How Shipment Q&A Works

  • Carriers can submit questions about a shipment

  • Shippers can reply directly from the shipment page

  • Questions and answers are visible to anyone who views the shipment

  • Carrier questions appear anonymous to other carriers

  • Shippers can see which carrier asked each question

This ensures transparency while protecting carrier privacy.

Step 1: View Questions On A Shipment

When a carrier submits a question, it will appear in the Questions & Answers section on the shipment page. You will be notified (in-app + email, if enabled) when questions are created.

Step 2: Reply To A Question

Click Reply to respond to the carrier’s question. Enter your response in the text box and click Send.

Answers Are Shared Automatically

Once submitted, the carrier who asked the question will be notified, and your response will be visible to:

  • The carrier who asked the question

  • Other carriers viewing the shipment

  • Anyone with access to the shipment page

This prevents the same question from being asked multiple times.

Privacy & Visibility Notes

  • Shippers can see the carrier name associated with each question

  • Carriers do not see which carrier asked a question

  • All questions and answers are public on the shipment page
