Where You Submit a Quote

To submit a quote:

  1. Open a shipment from the Shipment List or My Quotes

  2. Scroll to the Submit a Quote section on the shipment page

Only shipments that are actively accepting quotes will display the quote form.

Quote Pricing Format

Carriers always submit quotes in the format requested by the shipper.

Depending on the shipment, pricing may be requested as:

  • All-in price

  • Per metric ton

  • Per short ton

  • Per hour

The pricing format is defined by the shipper and cannot be changed by the carrier.

Quote Details You Provide

When submitting a quote, you may be asked to provide:

  • Price (in the shipper’s requested format)

  • Currency

  • Pickup ETA

  • Delivery ETA

  • Equipment type

  • Optional notes (pickup times, handling details, availability, etc.)

These details help the shipper evaluate your quote beyond just price.

Providing a Tracking Link

You’ll also see an option to confirm whether you can provide a tracking link.

  • Tracking is optional, but strongly recommended

  • Providing a tracking link acts as a trust signal for shippers

  • Quotes that include tracking are often viewed more favorably

If you can provide a tracking link, enable this when submitting your quote.

Submitting the Quote

Once all required fields are completed:

  1. Review your quote details

  2. Click Submit Quote

After submission, your quote becomes Active and is immediately visible to the shipper.

Managing Quotes After Submission

After submitting a quote:

  • Quotes cannot be edited

  • If you need to change your price or details, you must:

    • Cancel the existing quote

    • Submit a new quote

You can cancel an active quote at any time before it is booked. You can view all of your quotes on your My Quotes list from your dashboard.

Quote Statuses Explained

Your quotes may move through several statuses:

  • Active – Your quote has been submitted and is under review

  • Countered – The shipper has responded with a counteroffer

  • Booked – Your quote has been accepted, and the shipment is booked

  • Cancelled – You cancelled the quote

  • Expired – The quote expired without being accepted

  • Declined – The shipper declined your quote

  • Lost – The shipper booked another carrier’s quote

Notifications & Updates

Carriers are notified immediately when:

  • A shipper books your quote

  • A shipper counters your quote

  • A shipper declines your quote

  • A shipper cancels a shipment you quoted on

  • A shipper books another carrier on a shipment you quoted (Lost)

Notifications are delivered in-app + email so you stay informed and can act quickly.

Summary

  • Quotes must match the pricing format requested by the shipper

  • Quotes cannot be edited (you must cancel and submit new)

  • Providing tracking links is optional but improves trust

  • Quote statuses keep you informed at every stage

  • You’re notified immediately when any action is taken on your quote

Submitting clear, accurate quotes helps shippers make faster decisions and increases your chances of booking.
